I can spend hours watching the light and its effects on natural subjects. It is never the same, but always interesting and often gorgeous, sometimes even breathtaking. These are the moments I hope to capture on film. I think see and dream in full color. All of my images are in color.

For the Indian people color is a great force in art and in life, that along with nature, beauty, spirituality and humanism are thought to be the basis of Indian culture. My images taken in India reflect these beliefs and underscore the strong identification I share with them.

My visit to India was one of the high points of my photographic life. I hope that you can experience, as I did, the sameness and differences among us all. And to quote Pritish Nandy in his foreward, “that you will gain insight into what makes India, India”
